PU DISC have the following adavantages over Ceramic Discs
High-quality yarns free of damage can be produced since crimp contraction is performed by means of rubber resilience when the rubber disc surface and filaments are brought into frictional contact. When conventional hard discs made of materials such as ceramic are used, filaments are caught on their uneven surfaces when they are mechanically crimp contracted. This unavoidably damages filaments, decreases filament strength, or yields objectionable fluffs. On the other hand, the PU-DISC helps produce filaments which are better by far than those from the hard discs due to its resilient crimp contraction. It is also suitable for twisting fine and micro filaments.
